Archie M. Croom

Archie M. Croom has over 49 years of experience in all phases of telecommunications. In 1986 Mr. Croom pioneered carrier co-location when he designed the first disaster recovery center to be located in a telephone central office. (The same center which was built by Leo Wrobel in that same year) He also was Vice President of Engineering for Premiere Network Services Inc. where he designed process management and call detail record verification systems that earned millions of dollars for this company, where he was also a founder, shareholder and member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Croom holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He has held positions in such organizations as St. Regis Paper Company where he was Manager of Telecommunications, and Lomas and Nettleton Information Systems where he was also in telecommunications management. He is a Vietnam Era Veteran, USAF.
